Just so nobody thinks Gyeongjublog’s been abandoned, I thought I’d mention that I’ll be taking a hiatus for a month or so while I’m visiting folks back home. With 130 posts, there should be enough here to keep any interested tourists or local expats busy while I’m away. I do apologize if I’m a bit slow getting back to any comments or questions, but I will be checking in now and then just in case. I hope to start posting again come mid August, so until then, enjoy the blog

As I’ve gotten up to 16 restaurant reviews here on the blog, I decided to put up a permanent page listing them all in one place with links. I don’t want to repeat myself too much, but you can check it out here. I’ll be updating the list every time I post a new restaurant review. Likewise, I’ve put together a Google ™ map with all of the restaurants I’ve reviewed (see above), which I’ll also be updating as I go along.
I’ve been so busy with family visiting for the last few weeks (along with spending 4 days in the hospital over Chuseok) that I forgot to mention that some pretty exciting things were happening in the blog-o-sphere last month. It seems the Sam-shin deigned to smile upon Gyeongjublog and blessed it with a fair bit of K-blog love back in September. read more
My apologies for the lack of updates this month. We’ve been experiencing some technical difficulties with the bogging platform, web server and other technical mumbo-jumbo that you probably don’t give a rat’s patootie about. Believe me, it has been the cause of much consternation and gnashing of teeth. But fear not, gyeongjublog.com has not yet been abandoned. There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel, so (fingers crossed) I hope to get a new post up here soon. Until then there should be more than enough informative reading material in the archives to keep you busy.

Sorry for the radio silence lately. I’m taking a temporary hiatus from posting due to the recent birth of my son and end of term grading at my University. I plan on getting back on line here in a bout a week. So, until then, thanks for reading.
My apologies in advance for the radio silence, but I’m going on vacation for the next two weeks. I won’t have internet access either, so please don’t get offended if I don’t get back to your comments or questions for while.
Fear not though, I’ll be back on line by March. Starting next month I hope to bring in other folks from the Gyeongju expat community to post on this blog as well. If you’re interested on writing on restaurants you’ve been to, hikes you’ve done or cool sites or events around Gyeongju, please let me know.
